Σε αυτό το τμήμα παρουσιάζεται μια αξιολόγηση των πρακτικών στο πεδίο της ανταπόκρισης στον βίαιο εξτρεμισμού, την τρομοκρατία και το οργανωμένο έγκλημα την οποία διεξήγαγαν οι συνεργάτες του ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος TAKEDOWN. Η βιβλιοθήκη επικεντρώνεται σε δραστηριότητες, στρατηγικές και υπηρεσίες που εφαρμόζονται από δημόσιους φορείς ή από μη κυβερνητικούς παράγοντες. Πρωταρχικός σκοπός της είναι να ενημερώνει τους επαγγελματίες της πρώτης γραμμής και να προσφέρει μια επισκόπηση του ευρέως φάσματος των πρακτικών που εφαρμόζονται στην Ευρώπη. Οι προσεγγίσεις περιλαμβάνουν πολιτικές, βελτιώσεις υποδομών, στρατηγικές πρόληψης ή την συλλογή πληροφοριών σε τοπικό, περιφερειακό, κρατικό και ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Η τελική αξιολόγηση κάποιας συγκεκριμένης πρακτικής αφήνεται, φυσικά, στην κρίση των αναγνωστών και των χρηστών της βιβλιοθήκης. Από εκεί και πέρα, είμαστε ανοιχτοί σε σχόλια και προτάσεις καθώς και σε περαιτέρω αξιολογήσεις πρακτικών, τις οποίες μπορούμε να συμπεριλάβουμε στη βάση δεδομένων μας.
