Improving the understanding of radicalization processes in prisons
Pilot project in the prison context
The main objective of the Pilot Project is to improve prison staff skills for detecting radicalization processes among inmates through a raising-awareness and building-capacity intervention. The main outcome will be a training course that will provide penitentiary professionals with advanced knowledge in radicalization processes and personal narratives of victimization in order for them to be capable of identifying and preventing radicalization processes in prison, as well as to promote the development/management of particular interventions to inmates convicted for terrorist offences.
This pilot project will be implemented in Spain, under the lead of ELCANO
