This section presents an evaluation of practices in the field of violent extremism, terrorism and organized crime response that has been conducted by the partners of the EU-project TAKEDOWN. The library focusses on activities, strategies and services implemented either by public players or non-governmental stakeholders. It’s purpose is primarily to inform first-line-practitioners and provide an overview on the broad spectrum of practices in Europe. The approaches include policies, infrastructural improvements, prevention strategies or intelligence gathering ranging from the local, regional, national and European level. The final judgement of a particular practice is of course left up to the readers and the users of the library. We are furthermore open for inputs and suggestions as well as for further practices evaluations, which we can include in our database.
