Research Experience
Currently working on three H2020 research-led projects, which explore a number of themes including violent extremism, terrorism, organised crime, cybercrime and child sexual abuse. Also have three years experience in writing proposals for H2020 bids, which covers a range of topics in the realms of security, intelligence, technology and criminology.
Practical Experience
I have a wealth of experience in working with different communities on a grassroots level through a number of volunteering roles. These roles largely involve working with vulnerable people or inidviduals who are at-risk of being involved in crime.
Expertise Offered
Signficant knowledge of topics such as terorrism and violent extremism from a grassroots (UK focused) to a European-wide perspective. My knowledge base is predominately focused on improving current practices within law enforcement, or providing innovative solutions to increasing the effectiveness of policies to support police forces in tackling violent extremism and terrorism. This is largely favoured towards meeting the upcoming threats and challenges which arise with developments in technology, youth culture and social media.
