Virtual Conference: Radicalisation in Central and Eastern Europe

Three European projects MINDb4ACT, CHAMPIONs and BRAVE funded under the H2020 and ISF-P European Commission Programmes are pleased to invite you to register for the joint conference “Radicalisation in Central and Eastern Europe – trends, challenges and opportunities to counteract”.

Final TAKEDOWN Conference

As part of the conference, the project will launch different services on two online platforms, with one of them particularly supporting practitioners for fighting violent extremism and terrorism (https://www.firstlinepractitioners.com/) and the second one providing a market place for LEAs and security companies. Furthermore, the consortium will present the outcomes of the project and discuss future implications with external experts.

Round table “The fight against organized crime and terrorism”

The debate will address how Belgium and Italy have developed their expertise on the fight against organized crime and international terrorism and how they could exchange their respective best practices. The discussion will be introduced by the Ambassador of Italy to Belgium, Elena Basile, and the Rector of Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Caroline Pauwels. Key-note speakers will be:

6. November 2018: RAN EXIT and RVT

Leaving terrorism behind: Ensure recognising of the position of victims of terrorism and promote former extremists to return to society, as both are important values for a resilient democratic society.
